Dangers of Delusional Dictatorial Democracy

In what reportedly amounts to one of the defining moments of President Bush’s legacy, the Bush administration has proposed an affirmation that the United States is still at war with Al Qaeda — one of many enemies created by the U.S. government, supported financially, militarily trained and supplied with military weapons, whose sole purpose is to serve as an excuse to continue extremely illegal activities — asserting that many Americans may have forgotten that.

How could Americans forget that? We’ve been repeatedly reminded by numerous illicit acts concocted by the Bush administration since the attacks on 9/11/01 were allowed to happen. The 9/11 attacks were followed up a week later with deadly high-grade military strength anthrax that took the lives of innocent Congress people and journalists — although no one in the White House was affected since they were all ordered to take cypro, the antidote for anthrax the night of 9/11/01 — that were authorized by high-ranking officials in the Bush administration. The depths of corruption in the Bush administration are limitless. We’ve been fed lies and illegal propaganda ever since that has resulted in the destruction of the Constitution, Civil Liberties and Rights, in addition to the genocide in the Middle East which has resulted in wealthy gains for a select few while destroying Democracy along the way. There is no way we could forget.

The proposal is for hearing legal appeals from detainees at U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The proposal carries significant legal and public policy implications for Bush and his successor — like the illicit legislation passed by Congress after a couple Congressmen were murdered to influence passage of the previously prepared legislation that was proposed right after the attacks of 9/11 by the Bush administration. Nothing has been done by our politicians in Washington to stop President Bush’s delusional attempts at dictatorship. Impunity is assumed by those in power, and conveniently condoned by the vast majority of those politicians in Washington, some of which profit financially and politically as a result. Too many innocent people all over the world are dying as a result of corrupted politics that are destroying Democracy.

Bush is trying to coerce Congress into re-establishing his broad, illegal and lie-based interpretation of the president’s wartime powers despite challenges from the Supreme Court and some in Congress. House Speaker Pelosi needs to pull her head out and allow impeachment proceedings to occur. Pelosi is illegally impeding and obstructing justice, and is also eligible for impeachment. It would behoove Congress to start looking after the people they’ve been elected to represent for once and quit covering up all the illegally activities they’ve condoned for entirely too long now. A lot more information on Bush’s proposal can be found from The Washington Post.

Down the 9-11 Rabbit Hole

The attacks of 9/11 served as the “New Pearl Harbor” that opened the flood gates for Bush’s premeditated policies being put into play. There are still entirely too many unanswered questions surrounding the attacks of that day. Those attacks could have been prevented by the Bush administration, but weren’t. There are too many major flaws in the official version of those fateful attacks and too many things that don’t add up. A legacy of atrocious, well-documented lies involving numerous crimes will follow President George W. Bush through history as more of the truth comes out.

An interesting article from Bohemian.com about going down the 9-11 Rabbit Hole does an interesting job of explaining the magical thinking — from an Alice in Wonderland perspective — surrounding our national tragedy and notes that it would be nice if something about the official story of the attacks of 9/11 made sense for a change.

It’s an interesting article worth the read. Here are a few excerpts from Down the 9-11 Rabbit Hole:

We’re hurtling down the rabbit hole. Gravity’s refuted. Black is white, and white turns bitter, transfigured by a mawkish Mad Hatter blithely chewing up our Constitution, juggling missile-shaped teacups, splashing sweet, light crude and cold blood everywhere. To anyone who’s passed through the last eight years believing whatever George W. Bush and his minions have blown their way, well, best of luck to you, because most of it hasn’t been true.

[……]

OK, then, why the resistance to a second investigation into what was surely the crime of the last half-century? Ken Jenkins thinks he understands why. “People just don’t want to know it. They don’t want to know how bad things are, and accepting that 9-11 was an inside job is just way too horrendous for a lot of people to seriously consider. They don’t approach it rationally. They approach it emotionally, that in terms of the implications of what you’re presenting is too scary.”

[……]

According to Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ron Suskind’s new book, The Way of the World, George W. Bush had direct and personal knowledge that Saddam had no WMD. Bush lied about it, and then covered up his lie by having the CIA forge a document. But Bush also lied about holding administration officials accountable for leaking the identity of Valerie Plame. He has lied about Brownie and Katrina, about torture, wiretapping, habeas corpus, tax relief to the middle class and the health of our economy.

He’s lied about global warming, his military record, his cocaine use, about his relationships with slime buckets like Ken Lay and Jack Abramoff and about the scientific data’s he’s had altered or deleted from public documents. Bush has been a virtual one-man lying industry, and yet clear thinkers among us would have us believe that, when it comes to this single overarching issue of 9-11, he speaks nothing but the truth.

Alice, spinning through Wonderland, had certain insight into that particular notion: “If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn’t be. And what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?”

Incompetent Negligence Governing War in Afghanistan

The Washington Post reported that for the past six years, military relations between the United States and Afghanistan have been governed by a two-page “diplomatic note” giving U.S. forces virtual carte blanche to conduct operations as they see fit.

Bush lied in 2005 when he pledged in a declaration signed with Afghan President Hamid Karzai — he pledged to “develop appropriate arrangements and agreements” that would formally define the terms of the U.S. troop presence along with all the other ties. No agreements were ever drawn up.

After a recent snafu caused by American military leadership in which 90 innocent Afghan civilians — mostly children — were killed in an air strike conducted by U.S. military troops, Karzai has called for a review of all foreign forces in Afghanistan along with a formal “status of forces agreement” similar to the accord currently being negotiated between the United States and Iraq. Afghanistan has suffered from some of the same fates as the poorly premeditated illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq. More information can be found in the article from The Washington Post.

Passing The Torch for Neverending War

I’ve never been a big fan of Pat Buchanan, but lately he’s brought up some very valid points. Randy Scheunemann is the principal foreign policy adviser to presumptive Republican Presidential John McCain. Scheunemann is also a dual loyalist, a foreign agent who was almost responsible for starting World War III. As noted by Buchanan, “that people like Scheunemann hire themselves out to put American lives on the line for their clients is a classic corruption of American Democracy.”

Scheunemann is a neocon, formerly from the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) who pushed for the war with Iraq. He was the executive director of the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq — a propaganda front for a different pack of liars than the one mentioned previously in this paragraph, who deceived the U.S. into war with Iraq. Now Scheunemann works for John McCain. As with other neocons involved with the Bush administration, Scheunemann is pushing for war with Iran while baiting Russia. McCain has been pushing for endless war.

Also noted by Buchanan:

“Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence … a free people ought to be constantly awake,” Washington warned in his Farewell Address. Our Founding Father was warning against the Randy Scheunemanns among us, agents hired by foreign powers to deceive Americans into fighting their wars. And none dare call it treason.”

In typical Bush administration fashion, the Republican deception continues. Republican Presidential candidate for President John McCain’s chosen Vice-Presidential nominee Sara Palin’s wikipedia biography page was heavily edited shortly before her nomination was officially announced. In a possible act of desperation, McCain chose Sara Palin, the Governor of Alaska for the past year and a half whose previous experience includes being Mayor of a small town in Alaska. 30 mostly favorable changes were made to Palin’s Wikipedia biography page.

Palin’s fiscal disasters created as a result of her Mayorship haven’t hit the airwaves yet. Palin was magically transformed into “a politician of eye-popping integrity.” Apparently, more than one person was involved in the quickly made edits. Do they really think that type of manipulation won’t be found out? Palin also told her first lie as a Vice-Presidential nominee during her introduction and acceptance speech. She seems to have problems with truth and and trying to manipulate ‘facts.’ With the Presidential election coming up, the propaganda, lies and mud-slinging are about to shift into overdrive.

Put Impeachment Back On The Table

Once you get past the charades of the Presidential election, which have proven over and over that they’re easily manipulated, you realize that too much damage has already been done by Bush and his administration. Apparently not enough for Bush though. In the last few months of his presidency, he’s focused on doing all he can to destroy the remaining semblance of Democracy and everything that America has stood for.

Directly below is a partial list — in addition to trying to declare an indefinite state of war as mentioned above — of the damage Bush is responsible for these past few weeks, as noted by Impeach For Peace, that justify the urgency of Impeachment:

  • Gutted environmental protection by taking EPA scientists out of the loop.
  • Pushed for offshore oil drilling.
  • Made it easier for the FBI to investigate without a warrant.
  • Proposed making oral contraceptives harder to obtain. (& classifying them as abortion!)
  • Gotten obviously drunk at the China Olympics, embarrassing the US and insulting the Chinese.
  • Started a proxy war with Russia via the US client nation of Georgia.
  • Signed an agreement to place missile defense in Poland, evoking a Russian threat against Poland.
  • Canceled joint military exercises with Russia, essentially restarting the Cold War with the second nuclear superpower.
  • Sent a huge armada to blockade Iran, which could start WW III.

Bush also just extended the National Emergencies Act — enacted after the attacks of 9/11 — for another year to September 14, 2009.

What appear to be illegal police state tactics have already been in place as evidenced by the large gathering at the Democratic National Convention, and will most likely be in place at the upcoming Republican National Convention.

The best way to stop the Bush administration from destroying the rest of the world is to impeach him. Complicit House Speaker Pelosi needs to be urged to begin impeachment hearings, regardless of whether or not she and the rest of her cronies in Congress are implicated. The ‘no time for impeachment’ excuse is horse crap. Starting impeachment will start putting an end to the massive amount of crimes committed by this administration with many Congressional blessings.

To help the impeachment movement you can sign Senator Dennis Kucinich’s impeachment petition. More impeachment information can be found at Kucinich.us, Impeach for Peace, Impeach Bush, After Downing Street, National Impeachment and Republicans and Independents for Impeaching Bush and Cheney.

Wake Up America! You Can Make A Difference

As noted by Rense.com, the Zionist New World Order is losing. They’re desperate and it’s showing. To see the truth about this world and and get out from behind the smoke screen provided by major media outlets, stop watching Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Wolf Blitzer and the Rush Limbaugh types who are grossly overpaid to push lies and propaganda as news and truth.

Too many Democratic members of Congress have endlessly helped Bush and his administration in their ongoing quest for never-ending war and dictatorship, allowing the destruction of the Constitution, Civil Liberties and Rights. Those same Democrats have profited financially along with the Big Oil, Telecoms and Pharmaceutical industries, Defense Contractors and numerous other large corporations who have raped the people that made them what they are, leaving them broke and in many cases, homeless.

Bush’s illegal tactics, used repeatedly these past seven and a half plus years, have resulted in nothing short of a delusional dicatorship intentionally created to destroy Democracy. Congress has condoned it for entirely too long. It’s becoming increasingly more obvious that those in our political system need to be held accountable for the damage they’ve inflicted on the American public and the rest of the world. The more crimes come unraveled, the more our politicians in Washington continue trying to devolve democracy into a dictatorship while passing illicit, unconstitutional ‘legislation’ to keep an incredible amount of illegal activities covered up. It’s time to wake up America, and put an end to the corruption. You can make a difference.
